Looks really ancient and mysterious, awesome!
You should really do more monsters. The textures and details are great. Love the book look!

You damned bastard did it again, now quit stealing the spotlight! :D
Hahaha, couldn't help but smile as I read your review. I'm not stealing anyone's spotlight! I'm just posting crappy pictures and cool people just happen to come along and support them.
I enjoy your art by the way, keep at it. :-D

Sux, dog.
whats ur secret?
I want to know the process. Do you start with a pencil sketch, then colour with markers or whatever, crumple the paper, scan it or simply take a picture?
Its a really interesting style, all moody and everything.
i draw it in pencil really roughly to get the basic skeleton and pose of the characters then i pen in the lines and details then i go over the pen with a bold black pen/marker to do the really dark shadows then i colour it with water colours.
the crumbles paper effected is not as complex as it seems.
that is simply from where i was rubbing out (some not all) of the pencil i am rquite firm with the rubber and it creases the paper a little when i do it. then when i scan it in i edit it on iphoto or photoshope and just adjust the contrast shadows highlights saturation ect.ect.
hope that helps you if not message me and i will go into more detail for you.
that's really funny :D
I've been trying sketchbook pro myself, confusing as hell after photoshop..
glad you found it funny dude!
and really the only thing i use sketchbook for is the pencil and pen tool, the spacebar navigation and the quick layer manipulation. don't try and take it all in, just hte parts you like ;D
hope that helps and thanks for the high score!
*highfives*
Front-paged? Im not surprised :D
I just envy your style of art
thanks for the high score pal!
the only advice i've ever been able to give out about drawing is make sure that you have fun doing it.
